That's a great jazzy tone on that tele Mario! :) And for this slow ballad style heart and soul is a lot more important than light speed playing technique ;)

Totally agree Michael! Thanks!! ;) For the sound, I changed the neck pickup for a Seymour Duncan, the potentiometers, the condenser and the gauge of the strings to 0.52... and it works on a Telecaster!!

Definitely Mario! Telecasters are much more versatile than many may think... and yes, it's the neck pickup, trebles rolled of, heavy gauge strings and a fat pick or fingerpicking that makes that jazzy sound. Plus a good feel for the tune of course ;)

This one is also played on a Tele: #240464 - when it still had the thin strings on it. I replaced them with .011 recently.
