They're etched deep in my heart for ever
Sunny days just being a kid
we laughed so much, we really did
and I will never forget

The fun times and the baseball games
so happy then, no need to explain
we understood each other
finishing off those sentences
like brothers,we were we were

You'd take me fishing on the Lake
Mama would make some sandwiches
and we'd eat them
along the way

Adventurers we two
climbing trees was the thing to do
and even if we skinned our knees
we'd laugh and carry on you see
'Cause that's what real adventurers would do

So now we're older
but we are like brothers still
and we can laugh together as we will
remembering the times when we were young
and carefree playing in the sun
