Wade If you ever get a chance check out what they do in Finland. Traditionally they do all their harvest work in winter and use all the frozen lakes for transport. Somewhat changed now with maintained roads. But still a tradition and reality. +0

Very easy to make the trails freeze so no damages to the soil with machinery.

Wade I live in Australia four to five months of the year. I have a house here and a full set of instruments. Two homes and a lot of work in both places. Not sure how long I can keep it up. Retirement just doesn't seem eminent, yet one doesn't last forever... +0
