Oh, the night was dark and the mood was slow
The organist played with a soulful flow
His fingers danced across the keys so fine
Creating magic in each lingering line

But as the music filled the hazy air
Nobody noticed his vacant stare
His hands still pressed upon the keys

The Leslie spun, the notes did wail
As the organist's spirit set sail

For the organist had left this earthly plane
