I know that you’re tired of this mundane existence
Of it’s pointless obsessions & you’ve lost your resistance
to several addictions and mindless afflictions of the light
would you make a sacrifice?

sure you’ve made commitments to those faces and places
but they’re numbing you senseless, it’s been years since you’ve tasted
a flavor worth savoring,
is humanity really that worth saving?
or would you wager your life?

go on and taste me
and know that not a single drop is worth wasting
and your palette will ignite
with elixirs of the night
and you’ll want to stay forever
in my arms

bow down before me
yes i am the queen of the night
illuminating your shadows and hidden desires

yes i know your secrets, the thoughts you repress
it’s this cowardly denial that has made you so depressed
it’s wonderful to want the things you want and you can have them to

but honestly tell me , is this what you call living
you’re not truly happy, you know something’s missing
but you lie and you lie to yourself some more
