Major or minor is a very good question. The piece is mostly in C major (i.e. the relative minor scale of A).
In two places (bars 17 to 18 and bars 33 to 34) I make a pattern in a broken scale by playing a G-sharp (so a pattern in A minor harmonic). You can actually say that I'm in a minor key +1
