Maybe sometimes you realise
The spoon-fed information
Becomes like some kind of prize
Through the generations of acceptance
But you got to break that rule
You got to find everything yourself
To be cool

Now there's darkness all around me
Confusion and false memories
Also surround me
But I look towards some inner light
To tear my mind away
From the frightening darkness
Of demons that inhabit my soul
They live there rent free
In some kind of magic dictionary

I'm not so worried about my time on earth
I know it's just a temporary thing
If only you can find someone
Who believes in you
It makes it so much easier
Just to get through

It's shared by everyone
You don't like to admit it
