Thanks, it does sound like different instruments, but it comes from just one same flute! The first thing that amazed me about the flute is that blowing harder takes the note up an octave automagically with 4 octives achievable. Moveing fingers over open holes gives other effects.

Wrong, it just looks complicated. Watch YouTube lessons to get started on what to do. IF you love the sound and freedom to extend notes and become more expressive, then just start blowing to songs in your room for a few months (read my bio--I explain it--for real).
