I’m am sipping old coffee,
Staring at the walls,
The cracks are like stories
That nobody wants to tell
We used to dream in color,
Now it’s just black and white,
As the world spins faster,
I’m losing track of night.
faded memories lost in the night
Writing our futures becomes a distant past
But we traded those dreams
For a moment of uncertainty
Now my heart feels like a clock.


Downsized, like the memories in my mind,
Kids are the kind to follow,
But they’re just ghosts in the grind.
Men rising up to fall,
Well, aren’t we all?
The broken are misguided,
The truth is nothing but a lie,

Flipping through old photos,
They’re fading like stars,
The wealthy become the man,
And I’m left counting scars.
