Music of the night... world music... recorded with a Fender FV 3 violin... yes Fender also made violins from the 60s onwards... and I have one ! https://s2.easyzic.com/common/datas/materiel-produits/33/47/_33478/62194.jpg

Jypeka - a great fit from the first few notes onwards. Sounds excellent. Feels like a mix of cultures. Microtonality emotionally engaging. Storyteller !
Thank you for your talent and perspective !

Jypeka Excellent template with finesse Ulf, I see a lot of "traditional" instruments in Kontakt but I didn't know the Berimbau :) +0

ulfberth My Berimbau is a physical instrument. A steel string under tension from bent wood with a gourd midway acting as a resonator. Slide to tune and set the "key" a stick bounces on the string and a stone shortens string to produce different pitches and slurs. A shaker in the same hand as the stick is like playing two instruments with one hand. Used to play it a lot it does take practice.
Your violin sounds even more expressive. Is it the violin? or you played it more microtonally?

Jypeka Ah, okay, so it's a real instrument (you play it very well). I saw that you mentioned "keyboards" in instruments. I thought it was Kontakt or something.
The Indian violin technique is very complicated. Rather than resting the head of the violin on the foot to have more room on the neck, I rest the head of the violin on my desk.
But it's difficult to play microtonally.
It's not in our culture.
