What lies beneath

There\'s more than the surface
Can believe

It\'s an Icebreaker
They tell you
It\'s a conversationless peace
To help you feel and deal
With the other human beasts
Be more convivial

I understand it
I really get it
I was once down on my knees
Swimming through a putrid ocean
Of chloroform

Tell me it\'s too heavy
The weight that I foresee
The levy breaking
It\'s all forsaken
Just so long as the truth and the trust
Are not broken

Going down
So many fathoms
Into the deep
Where no one can rescue
Survivors.
