King)<br/><br/>Diesel fumes and the sound of a train <br/>would carry him away.<br/>So he took to the road in the month of May.<br/>His mother shook her head and cried:<br/>“Blues Boy, Blues Boy, where will you go?<br/>Why do you roam so far from your home?”<br/>With dust in his eyes, <br/>he looked up at the sky:<br/>“The plantation is not my home.<br/>I can only tell you this. <br/>I’ll find my way to Heaven. <br/>I’ll build a bridge to bliss.”<br/><br/>Illness and age carried him away.<br/>He took to the road in the month of May.<br/>We shake our heads and cry:<br/>“Blues Boy, Blues Boy, where will you go?<br/>Why do you roam so far from your home?”<br/>With sleep in his eyes, he replied:<br/>“This world is not my home.<br/>I can only tell you this. <br/>I’ll find my way to Heaven. <br/>I’ll build a bridge to bliss.”<br/>“Blues Boy, Blues Boy, where will you go?<br/>Blues Boy, Blues boy, why do you roam?”<br/>“The world was not his home.<br/>I can only tell you this. <br/>He found his way to Heaven. <br/>He built a bridge to bliss.”<br/>
