First outing on my new Washburn. Just something layback. Will take some getting used to. The action is a bit high for me. Will work on lowering it. But I really like the sound what do you think. Hope you like.

Acousticeg Yes the strings are very tight. That's why I've always been a big fan of Ovation guitars and have owned and played about every one but the most expensive. I have three but at one time had 7. The action on my Ovations is like playing on an electric guitar, very low without buzzing even when playing chords all the way up the neck. But as much as I love them they have a very weak sound unplugged. I don't think anyone buys them for their unplugged sound. You can get a decent sound with a few good mikes, I use two. But as far as low action and a very fast neck and the fact that they sound great plugged in to a good sound system. They are pretty hard to beat because they are very versatile guitars. I don't mind the criticism at all. Thanks for the listen. +1

LeftTheLoops9-18 I hope its not criticism. I prefer "Technical confirmation".Its really minor. But being Im shopping acoustics , your sound is actually a huge buying comparison for me hence my "ccritique". I would never have even noticed if you didnt mention it. The other day though I was checking out Ovations at Guitar Center. I would normally gravitate to Martins but I like your sound.I want to emulate the crisp clarity. It was different for me. I may go back and get it.It definitley stood out from the Wooden bodies. +2
Acousticeg
Acousticeg Another thing to consider is the Lyrachord body makes Ovations able to tolerate heat and humidity and dings and scratches better than their wooden counterparts. I still love the sound and tone of an all wood acoustic. And sometimes you just want that warmth only wood can give. Which is why I bought the Washburn. It sounds great unplugged and the Fishman electronics sound great plugged in. +1
LeftTheLoops9-18
LeftTheLoops9-18 I hear you. It wasn't until recently I discovered why Ovations are different. Ive decided wooden for the 12 string which is my Martin and Ovation will be recording guitar. Tanks for the info. Keep em coming please. +1

Sounds great AC... I can tell the strings are new and the action is high, but so what, it's a cool new toy :) +1
Acousticeg
Acousticeg yep, what do they say. The only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys...lol +0

Really liking the tone. Nice lower end tone, something I looked for when I bought my last acoustic. This will be a killer guitar once you lower the action and get rid of the buzz. Nice track by the way A :) +1
