When I get my chakras aligned

I’ve seen the writing on the wall; it’s there in letters six feet tall
It’s the season of failure, so it’s time
to dig up all those ugly weeds and sprinkle my wee bag of seeds and
hope that I grow flowers in the grime

And though I’m down here on my knees, I’m trying to find my dignity
While staring at the stars most of the time
I know what you’re all thinking, “There’s no way that he’ll stop drinking:
if you prick that bastard , all he’ll bleed is wine”.


What a world what a world, It’s hard to think when your mind’s unfurled
But the thoughts I have are mine alone, It’s true
I want to live inside each moment, but I’m short of one component
I’ve got to get my chakras aligned
Solo

Success is just a breath away and life is but a cabaret
But it’s hard to get the pair of them combined
I’m giving up materials; I’ll lean towards the ethereal
I’m gonna get my chakras aligned


You offered me my fantasies being realized and ecstacy
Becoming a new default state of mind
Somewhere in the analyses my consciousness will rest at ease
The offer was respectfully declined

I’ll be softer than a flower and filled with loving kindness,
But when I’m standing up for principles, you’ll find
You’ll have to come and have a go, If you think you’re hard enough
