Reise zum Ich

Die Sonne hängt verstaubt
über dem Horizont ab,
mein Weg führt direkt zu ihr.

Dieser Weg führt mich ich glaube
nicht bergauf sondern bergab,
ich bin ein verpeilter Pionier.

Auf der Reise zu meinem Ich,
finde ich mich nicht,
ich finde einen andern.

Gehe ich vor oder zurück
vielleicht hier lang ein kleines Stück,
oder lieber doch anders herum.

Oder sollte ich lieber stehen
und überhaupt nicht mehr weiter gehen,
drehe mich nur im Kreis herum.

Auf der Reise zu meinem Ich,
finde ich mich nicht,
ich finde einen andern.

Meine Reise die dauert lange
ich schaue mir alles genau an,
da ist viel bunt aber auch schwarz/weiss.

Vieles ist mir völlig neu
ich trenne den Weizen von der Spreu,
auf meiner Stirn steht schon der Schweiß.

from above the horizon,
My path leads directly to her.

This path leads me I think
not uphill but downhill,
I am a pioneer inattentive.

perhaps long here a little bit,

I look at everything exactly
there's a lot of colorful but also black / white.

Much is completely new to me
I separate the wheat from the chaff,
on my forehead is already the sweat.
