Where do you go to escape yourself?
Where do you hide in your own personal Hell?
Where do you go to escape yourself?
Where do you hide?

Hidden in this body
Is what was once a soul
Digging through these ashes
To find what made me whole
How do you find the light
when black is all you know?
I reach out to touch the sun
But, God..It feels so...cold

.....so cold......

I feel reality is not always as it seems
The only sanity comes to me in my dreams
Longing for the day when I no longer feel this pain
I fall down on my knees and I
Pray for...rain

The rain is falling
It is cold upon my skin
I will take the rain
Just to feel something again.
