I've noticed a few people have lost friends and family lately so I thought it might be nice to use this thread to pay tribute to those we've loved and lost. They don't have to be recent losses, it can be anyone you feel you need to remember :)

And not just personal losses, let's pay tribute to famous people, especially musicians. As we get older we see our heroes passing on and it's like we lose a part of ourselves.

Please join in here and tell us who you've lost, why you want to celebrate them here and what difference they made to your life

If you want to add photos or appropriate music links that might be good too <3

Yours sincerely Shamika

R.I.P Robbie Robertson (July 5, 1943 – August 9, 2023)

A great musician, songwriter and guitarist who payed in one of the most iconic bands ever, "The Band". I first encountered him when watching "The Last walz" movie.

He might not be a houshold name but some of his songs like "The Weight", "I Shall Be Released", "Up on Cripple Creek" and "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down" are classics who stood and will stand the test of time.

When I first seen this site I just could not believe the things you could do with other musicians, gone from strength to strength and its all dong to everyone as great musicians, long may it continue.
