Biography
At 18 I picked up bassplaying, as there was no youtube and internet available then I learned playing by listening to radio and records as an autodidact. And at 23 after my military service I joined my first band. Played my share in blues, rock, dance-classics formations. Regular visitor of "jam"-sessions where mostly songs are covered made me also a regular fill-in for several bands. After heart failure wikiloops is my main playing-ground.
Instrumente
I mostly play on my custom-build Rikkers and too little on my fretless Yamaha BB5000-AF. Both 5 stringers are strung with Optima Gold strings.
For amplifcation there's a TC Electronic RH450 amp with a RS112 and a RS210 and a little BG250 combo with 2x8"speakers
