C'est fou , c'est trop
Been itching to get at this track for a week now. WhiteDrum55's excellent Clyde Stubblefield-style add meant I had to steer clear of his approach.
So went back to a simpler back beat with the emphasis on the off-beat. Also went all in to get the stabs and the stops and starts. I got most of them but still got one in the wrong place and restarted when I didn't intend to. But I was videoing it and didn't want to ...

Thanks, Oli. Really pleased with the setup now - the curtains behind (and on the opposing wall) make a big difference. Just need to move my Yamaha kit in now. Would rather be playing that one.

You can't see them but the overheads are now to the left and right of the picture in the video, way out in front of the kit. Amazing sound quality difference.
