Old jam, but jelly tight
Can wait to be to
With you tonight

A nice piece of bread
Peanut butter too
A tall glass of milk
That’s what you do

You’re my full meal
No need to snack
You’re a big sandwich
As you crawl up my back

You clean my plate nicely
Wash the dishes too
You’re even a housekeeper
For me that’ll do

Can you clean carpets
Mow my lawn too?
Perhaps you’re a plumber
In that case I’ll keep you

Can you run errands?
Even go to the store?
Bring back some jelly
So we can do more?

Spread the jam slowly
Cover every crust
Then lay the butter
