Turns out Titus' track has room for the deeper tenor resonance. Apart from (lots of) reverb I didn't feel the urge to apply other distortions, so it's a real sax sound that has come out in an unfamiliar way... mind you I was experimenting with gurning into the mouthpiece during long notes for interest +1
