What an awesome track from Nils, Peter, and Philip - couldn't resist playing around with it a bit, and giving it a bit of a low end... ... and after three years of non-smoking, non-drinking, and playing the fretless it was also time for - no, not some booze, but for a new (used) instrument: So forgive my brevity, and also my intonation - it's a first. Thanks and merci friends, hope you'll like it :)

I swear to God...I love upright bass's<3 No exception here:) +1
wjl
wjl Thanks Mark :) Of course I had to try Bb flat minor for my first one (ouch haha) :) +1
Fishinmissio
Fishinmissio Is that hard on a Bass? I am guessing so +1
wjl
wjl Well a Bb would be on the first fret on the A string of a guitar or normal bass, on double bass you call that "half position" - so you'll have to spread fingers a bit, and still reach only up to the C. Quite normal on a big lady, I'll just have to get used to it - so this is good practise for me :D +1

yeah i love upright bass too Wolfgang and a fantastic playing and thanks so much for joining us.;) +1
wjl
wjl Well thank *you* Nils for that great song :) And excuse my beginner's attempt to play the big mama (we call them basses 'grandma' here) :D +1
petebass
sound great buddy:)I'd love one,but have'nt got anywere big enough to hide it from the boss:D:D +1
wjl
wjl That was my biggest concern as well - but now the lady boss wants it right beside the TV set (and Zuleikha's piano is on the opposite wall, so that fits) :) Thanks for your kind compliment, still trying to make these first efforts sound good :) +1

Sounding good! New instruments always make us listen more intently and give us a fresh feeling for music. +1
wjl
wjl That's right - and it's kind of addictive, even with all the hassle of setting up and even holding it correctly :) Thanks for your kind comment :) +1
