Ivanovitch Difficult to know what to do with a template so full of space... Probably too much in this instance +1

Wade It's good to go there, have the experience, then come back and experiment in the opposite direction (max sparse). Lots of interesting territory in between as well!

I'm continually getting a kick out of hearing you exploring all sorts of boundaries and pushing. Best and fastest way to grow.

Ivanovitch That's very good of you to say, Wade. Da Lops really is a playground of experimentation +1

Wade Many have commented on how fast their playing has improved just by being here. Definitely best suited to ear players though. +1

Ivanovitch Yes, a bonanza for ear players... as you have proselytized elsewhere (seed on rocky ground?) +1

Wade I'm really OK with music made by those who can't play by ear and improvise mechanically. As long as they have fun that's good. What irritates are those who dictate that everyone must or should approach music mechanically or academically. I've seen a lot of talent screwed over by that education juggernaut. The irony is that the auditory learners who have talent are the least catered for. +0

Ivanovitch Thank you very much, Rene. I once saw a sax and didjereedo player in Edinburgh. I remember it was a cool experience. I don't remember what style the sax played +1
