There's a monster in my garden
and he's hiding in the grass / He got red eyes all a-glowing, he got horns, one either side of his head, made of purple glass / Now he's making a noise like a strangulated bullfrog, and he's beating the rhythm with his silver tail / and he won't go away until I say I'll sing with him / so I'm going to his hiding place to meet my monster face to face.

There's an alien in my wood shed and he's living illegally / there's a green light in the window and a flash of electricity / now he's making a noise like his head is in a barrel and he's rocking the woodshed like it might explode / and he won't go away until I say I'll sing with him / so I'm going to my garden shed to meet my alien head to head.
