I love funk with Udo and Tofzegrit bestowing upon us a magical track. Too bad my timing isn't up to theirs... oh well I had great fun playing anyway. Don't listen too closely and you might enjoy.

Wade Thanks so much Marc. The Stereo is contrived by giving one channel a few ms difference and panning in the opposite direction with the louder channel following (hope that makes sense for you). +3

BluesyLucille As I think I've already told you, I'm more sensitive to the qualities of interpretation than to instrumental virtuosity. When the two come together, it's exceptional. I don't think I'm qualified to judge the latter, especially for an instrument I don't know technically. On the other hand, if the interpretation is enjoyable, my ears are the first to participate and my brain rejoices. 😍When I play, it's the opposite: my brain forces my fingers to surpass themselves, which is much more difficult😊. If I succeed, I rediscover the notion of pleasure.🤗

Wade My playing is not for saxophonist's ears. They mostly want to play and hear technical virtuosity. I'm simply not interested. The sax instead is a replacement for my voice. I'm trying to sing through it, give stores, emotions and feelings. This one is a bit different as it's a hard edged groove.
I'm a one man rebellion against sax teaching that emphasises technical prowess as the single obsession and that the sax is strictly a 1950s style jazz instrument. That has unfortunately led to players who wish to TAKE praise from their listeners and don't know how to GIVE listeners music that offers a range of musical and emotional qualities.

I think we share this notion. +1
