Big Mouth Small mind

Have you noticed that small narrow minds often belong to people with big, wide mouths?

I always thought that speech was free, but what I didn't see was
what you say when you get carried away
will stay on your mind 'til that final day, and then you'll have to pay

The night was dark and foggy, so was my mind
My legs and thoughts were wandering, trying to find
Some reason and some rhyme to explain my situation
Then out of the mist I saw a sign, there was little explanation
By the sign, an arrow that pointed to the sky
Beneath it letters spelling out "Tonight's the night you die
But I, I don't want to die, I just want to stop getting older
So why oh why was my tired body feeling colder

"I've always been opinionated, said life was kinda overated
I gotta mouth that can't hold back, my words are blunt, my morals are slack
I thought I was superior, I thought I was divinely gifted
But I saw I the truth when the fog was lifted"

In the fog of a dark,cold night, my fingers numb, my face was white
My eyes were shutting out any light, I couldn't go left and I couldn't go right
My heart was beating fast as a drum, I tried to shout but I was dumb
My limbs started trembling without control
I felt my life was disappearing down a big black hole

The fog started lifting and everything was clear
And before me flashed all the things I held most dear
The panic left me just as quick as it came
Everything looked about the same
Except I wasn't old no more, I stood in front of a big wooden door
A sign said "Ring the bell, once for Heaven... and twice for Hell"

This story has no end that I can tell
But I'll give you a hint......it didn't end well !
