You said it can't be done - here it is, a perfect fake TeeJazz guitar :O I actually had a lot of fun with it, took me some time to work out how and what, but was worth it. For the more jazzy sounding first two solos from 1:24 and 3:48 I turned off the tube screamer and kept the volume lower for a cleaner "Jazz" sound. Obvuiously anybody can still hear the Strat, but that's what I got... :) For the ...

TeeGee Thanks man :) I was about to do some weird psychedelic stuff on the bridge from 4:26 but I was listening to this bit a few times trying to figure out what to play and I noticed the bass line is like a beautiful solo there, so I just left it as is :W +1

TeeGee Thanks man, I really enjoyed studying this track even if this is not my "normal" type of track to play on. There are so many interesting chord changes and sequences, key changes etc. half of which I don't understand at all :D But it's a great backing track, I look forward seeing what other players will do with it :W +1

Most Excellent Lead! ---first one Super Tasty! Love what you sound Moore jazzy-- probably had your tone knob lower too?
It does sort of have a fat hollow body sound!

TeeGee I am not 100 sure what I did, but usually I play with all the knobs on full, especially the volume on my Strat, that makes the distorted sound I like. For this one I turned off the volume, and all the effects, and used a jazzguitar preset on my DAW, and played with it until it sounded sort of jazzy. For the last 2 solos I turned some of my regular effects on. It is amazing what can be done with electronics and effects... +1

GemmyF Some cats from Austin were in my town at a gig -- it was a three piece - guitar Bass drums ---abd the guy was doing all this jazzy stuff --- I mean really Jazz stuff -- standards and he only played a Strat-- sounded Fat so Fat -- I talked to them afterwards --he told me the tone rolloff trick --also they used to be band mates with a Sax player I mention here occasionally. He is great.... +1
TeeGee
TeeGee yes turning the tone down takes the sting out of the tone, sounds softer for sure. +0
