Wow nice feel and groove Kimbo ... as usual. The lad from Cornwall manages to pull off another one! Nice! :D:W (btw you might as well enjoy yourself and play start to finish, the likelihood of getting a singer on this is slim to not likely.) Sounds great!! :O

You can do anything here really as it's a tree, but yeah, playing lead over the top of someone singing ... haha .. I'm LOL thinking about it! :D:D Giddy with the lockdown.

I always approve of your adds, Mr K. You're one of the few among guitarists I know how 'get' space and how 1 note can matter more than 20! Always a pleasure as I can always hear you playing what you feel rather than what you 'should'.
Annoyingly, I'm using my 'backup' kick mic - the one that came with my generic and cheap 'drum mic set' I bought off Amazon a few months ago! Might see if there's a way to rescue my D-111 though. +0

Nothing "cheap" sounding about this kick. 'Specially in the intro as you build. Best kick ive heard for ages!

Funny thing is, for this track I turned off the Waves 'Vitamin' which is a major compressor on it normally and just left the EQ on with more mid-range dialled off! Lesson learned!

maybe a really fast gate instead of commpressor... really make the beater "click" on the attack....just a thought
