I feel sorry for the native Irish who have to listen to this :D But in my defense... it's so much fun :D HQ download is just the vocals without the drone. (I used the drone to avoid going out of tune too much, and in the end thought it kind of sounded good enough to keep :) )

I just realized that some time ago I heard a conversation on the radio with a Belgian woman who had a crush on an Irish soldier (during the second world war? not sure, a long time ago for sure), and apparently he agreed to teach her some Irish traditional song, on the sole condition that she'd use the rolling "r" throughout the song - somehow that was very important to him. The radio conversation stayed with me somehow and apparently today crystallized into this. +2
